Will I go to hell if I smoke weed?
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Scripture does not specifically say that smoking marijuana automatically condemns someone to hell. It does call believers to sobriety, self-control, responsibility, and care for their bodies. An action that causes significant impairment, dependence, harm to others, or loss of self-control conflicts with those principles. Some Christians conclude that use without impairment is not inherently sinful; others abstain. This is an interpretation, not an explicit biblical ruling. Avoid driving while impaired, follow applicable law, and remember that smoke can harm your lungs. Salvation is not settled by labeling a plant.
